At Violet Co, we are a certified social enterprise dedicated to driving systemic change for women, gender diverse, and First Nations peoples. As our Executive Assistant, you’ll do more than manage a desk - you’ll be the engine room for our advocacy, consulting, legal and pro bono programs, ensuring our team has the support needed to grow our social impact.

You will act as the central point of coordination and right-hand support for our Principal Solicitor and the wider team. You will “keep the plates spinning”, managing complex schedules, streamlining our day-to-day essentials, and ensuring the seamless, high-quality delivery of our office operations.

This role is vital to ensuring our team can focus on what they do best: providing vital legal services to those who need them most, and supporting our community through law reform and advocacy.

Role Details

  • Capacity: Part-time (2.5 to 3 days per week).

  • Location: Ideally based in Newcastle (Awabakal and Worimi Land) or Darlinghurst (Gadigal Land).

  • Flexibility: Office-based with flexibility to work remotely.

  • Core Responsibilities: Managing schedules, communications, travel, events, and building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
