The role is 2.5 days per week working out of our office in Darlinghurst with some flexibility to work remotely.

Urgent reforms are needed to provide women with confidence that the police and justice systems work for those who have survived the horrific reality of gender-based violence and rape.

The concept of Trauma-informed practice is getting a lot of attention - and rightfully so! As legal practitioners and victim-survivor advocates we aspire to work in a client-centred way. WOW! In FY21 we have contributed a whopping $123,000 in value of pro bono legal services. This is our first year as a signatory to the National Pro Bono Target. Our very motivation for being, as a social enterprise, is to create a legal and consulting practice that delivers impact for women and/or Indigenous peoples. We feel like a day off might be in order!

Today we are celebrating a small (though very significant) win after submitting our B Impact Assessment, which is the first in a series of hoops to become certified as a B Corporation. The assessment process really challenged us to extend ourselves and create impact in new areas through our core business.
